Part of why I like the bay area is because so many people there are in tech that it’s the center of all conversation. Even a few years ago San Francisco didn’t feel like part of the party. Somehow it stole the show.

tedr: Heh! I think people drawn to SF always cared more about the life party then the technology party. But the reason we kept Dogster in SF was we felt those people were going to have that extra creativity need to make product with soul and passion as well as technological superiority. Aside from Facebook and Apple, few companies have been able to recruit such diverse talent in the South Bay.
