I fly American a lot. It has been forever since they updated their online booking engine for regular tickets. So for years now they’ve had this awful anti-pattern of the proceed button being small and red (it’s the one that says ‘GO’) and the cancel button is usually much larger and right next to the tiny proceed button (the one that says’ START OVER’0
Even on the very last ticket confirmation screen you have to click a tiny red button to approve.
The buttons could not be closer to each other, and the fact the words are in all caps does not help at all.
Amazing they’re ready to lose all those ticket purchases becuase a person subconsciously avoids the red button
